MEET SEAN HUTSON

Sean Hutson believes effective government should be practical, efficient, and focused on helping people succeed.

Sean grew up in Medina County and graduated from Cloverleaf High School in 2005. He and his wife, Laura, now live in Wadsworth, where they are proud to call home.

Sean is a part-time Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Medina County and an attorney at Harrison and Hutson, where he focuses on real estate, business law, and estate planning. His work allows him to provide practical, efficient legal counsel to individuals, families, and local businesses throughout the community.

A significant part of Sean’s legal career has focused on local government law — an area where he has seen firsthand how bureaucracy and inefficiency can slow progress. He believes state government should work better for local communities, not get in their way.

Before entering private practice, Sean worked on Capitol Hill for U.S. Senator Jon Kyl and for the American Motorcyclist Association. He has also taught courses in political economy and American politics at his alma mater, Heidelberg University.

Sean earned his bachelor’s degree from Heidelberg College, a master’s degree in political science from Ohio University, and his law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law.

He currently serves on the boards of The Giving Place and Habitat for Humanity of Medina County.

Outside of work, Sean enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling, and spending time outdoors with his dogs, Belle and Sassy.
